Palmulacypraea katsuae, musumea and boucheti
There have been many questions regarding katsuae, musumea, boucheti (the species formerly known as lacrimula), and the mysterious omii.
Although G3 answers all of them, here are some additional pictures:
1-2: musumea from Noumea, New Caledonia, with white teeth and sparse spots. Such slender shaped shells were recently named omii Ikeda, but seem to be a variety only.
2-4: boucheti, also from Noumea , specimen with faint brown staining of the teeth
5-6: boucheti from Taiwan, specimen with rich colours and brown stained teeth
7-8: boucheti from Hainan, China. Fantastic dark specimen
