The German Postal services have protested against me using the word "snail mail".

It implies that the German Post is using snails for the transportation of letters and parcels.

Herewith I would like to apologize.

 

The truth is that letters and parcels are transported in a wooden box that is attached to the belly of a three-legged tortoise.
